We chose Kevin Gibbs as our DJ at The Bingham House for our June 2015 wedding and reception. Kevin was one of four of the DJ choices we were provided with from the venue. I had emailed with several of the DJs but Kevin was the most responsive so I spoke with him via telephone first. I didn’t have to call any of the others after talking with Kevin. He was so nice, had a lot of knowledge and experience, and seemed well organized with a website for my fiancé and I to enter our ceremony and reception music choices.
We met with him once a few months prior to the wedding to go over our preferences and the type of reception we wanted. It was apparent that he was really trying to be sure he gave us what we wanted.
A few weeks before the wedding he reviewed the website where we had entered on song information, confirmed everything with me, and then, even emailed me the songs to listen to just to be sure he had the correct song versions!!
I’m so glad because one song was the same in title, but a different version. He obtained the correct one within a hour and emailed it to me to confirm.
At the wedding and reception everything ran so smoothly. I appreciated him consulting with me on a few song requests our guests made that we indicated weren’t some of our favorites.
Most importantly though, he kept me and my guests out dancing until we had to leave! He was on the ball for each reception event (cake cutting, first dance, etc) and even an impromptu little speech my daughter decided to give (he quickly announced her and got everyone’s quiet attention so her small voice could be heard on the microphone).
Kevin did a great job!!! Five stars plus!!!

After our first DJ bailed on us within two weeks of our wedding, Kevin picked up the slack, met with us within days and did not gouge us with high prices even though it was last minute. His presentation was beautiful and he happily took requests from everyone including my 12 year old children. Excellent DJ!

We interviewed three DJ’s before coming across Kevin’s dfwDJ website listed at the Dallas Bridal Show. We checked it out and gave him a call. He returned out call within an hour and from there we did everything by email since my husband and I were not yet living in Texas and would not be in town until a week before the wedding. Kevin was extremely accommodating especially where our eclectic taste in music is concerned.
